Our Story
Where Our Eye Care Journey Began
What began as a small local optometric practice in the 1970s has grown into one of Idaho's largest independently owned optometric organizations. Over the decades, Eyecare Associates of Idaho has expanded its services, invested in advanced technology, and opened new locations to better serve the evolving needs of Treasure Valley communities.
From building a reputation for relationship-driven care in the 1980s and 1990s to adding new eye doctors and opening our Community Eye Clinic and Kuna location in the 2010s, our growth has always been guided by a commitment to patient-first care. Today, we are a proud Vision Source® partner serving thousands of patients each year across our Nampa, Boise, Kuna, and Community Eye Clinic locations—while remaining dedicated to protecting and enhancing our patients' sight.

Through our Community Eye Clinic, we help expand access to vision care for Medicaid patients and underserved populations. Our eye doctors also provide eye care services to nursing home residents throughout the Treasure Valley and remain actively involved in local schools, youth sports, churches, and community organizations.
