I had a very thorough eye exam with Dr Shipton. He explained each detail in clear language. Never did I feel rushed, he answered all of my questions. There is a great selection of frames! The optician took her time with me as well, explaining all my options. Every one in the office is very courteous and professional! I will definitely continue to be a patient there.

I’ve been going to Eyecare Associates of Boise for about two years now, and I always have a great experience. They were able to fit me in quickly, and Dr. Shipton consistently takes his time during the exam to explain everything clearly. He uses very modern diagnostic tech, which makes the whole process feel thorough and efficient. I’ve gotten both glasses and contacts here, and the quality and service are always excellent. Convenient location, friendly team, and genuinely great care. Highly recommend.

I met Dr Shipton yesterday for the first time after my long-time optometrist (30+ years!), Dr Winbigler, retired. I loved Dr W and was sad (and happy for him) upon his retirement. I must say that I was very impressed by Dr S and his crew. Dr W found the right doctor to take over his practice. I highly recommend Dr S and Eyecare Associates of Boise!!

Eyecare Associates is outstanding. Dr takes time to understand problems and is very personable. Excellent follow through on questions and answers. I wear scleral lens which are not an easy fit

Best eye consultation/exam I think I've ever had. Dr. Shipton helped me understand the issues with dry eye and other optic concerns I've been dealing with for years. We discussed solutions that made sense and put a plan together if I needed to do more. I highly recommend him.

I have been going here for eye care for years and do not plan to see any other practice in Boise. All the staff and doctors are fantastic and helpful. I needed to make an emergency appointment because my glasses broke, I called at 10am and got an appointment for 11:20 the same morning. Everyone was patient and understanding as I walked around blind. I absolutely recommend this practice!!

I am a longtime patient of first Dr. Winbigler and now Dr. Shipton. The care I have received was excellent with Dr. Winbigler and continues with Dr. Shipton. He is knowledgeable and up to date on new technology. He, like Dr. Winbigler, takes the time to explain issues and answer questions. The staff is friendly and professional. I recently had a test done at the Nampa office and again had a good experience.

Would recommend to everyone looking for the best service; where you feel informed, no surprise charges due to there transparent presentations of what they are doing and any options that may be available to you. I’ve tried other vision clinics and always had a disappointing experience, but Eyecare Associates was pleasantly surprising and refreshing: Everyone was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. Every Eyecare Associates staff member offered professional, helpful, caring services all with pleasant attitudes! This staff approach closely mimicked Dr Shipman's care. Dr Shipman carefully reviewed my unusual eye issues, fully explained my conditions, always open to, fully answered, questions. His thorough exam was explained, professionally utilizing a variety of appropriate instruments. Dr Shipman completely explained his exam results, noting his proposed treatment, again fully answering all questions! The Dr, as well as staff associates, helped me feel comfortable, fully providing for all my eye care needs. Definitely a highly recommended medical Association!!

Dr. Shipman is very professional and knowledgeable in Eye health. I was in and out of the office and under an hour. His staff was very kind and efficient and I would recommend them to anyone that’s looking for a new eye doctor.
