Eyecare Associates of Kuna

I showed up to their office unannounced with broken glasses and they fixed them immediately and without charge, so I transferred my business from a Boise eye care business and had my first appointment on July 7. Beautiful facility, personable staff; the associate who did all my testing was knowledgeable and really helpful. Dr. Gibbons was great and thorough and the office manager helped me pick out new eyeglasses. Cost was affordable and clear. What a great experience!

Dr Mullins is a fantastic eye doctor. I appreciate his knowledge and precision in my specific eye care needs. He has been a trusted professional for my eye care in the 5 years that I have lived in the Treasure Valley. I highly recommend him.

It was my 1st time to visit, (relocated recently). Everyone I met with from front of office staff and everyone in between up to Dr. Scott were great. They were friendly, accommodating and professional. Dr. Scott (sorry don’t know last name) was giving of his time and talent explaining options; what he was seeing or not seeing; answering my question with patience. Everyone was just very nice! It was a pleasant experience.

By FAR the best experience I have had in 40+ years of wearing glasses. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Customer for life.

Love this clinic! Dr Mullins is very down to earth, careful, and patient with me and my kids who hate having stuff near our eyes. The whole staff is SO nice and they remember details about you!

Absolutely the best experience at Eyecare Associates of Kuna. I felt thoroughly examined for all health aspects of my eye and vision, and everything was explained by Dr. Mullins extremely well. He was open to any questions and I felt very comfortable with him. In addition the pre-testing before I saw the doctor was done by Glenna and she was so friendly and also answered all questions that I had. No one treated me as if they were in a hurry or had no time for the questions I had. I recommend this business very highly.

These guys are by far the best optometrist out there! I see Dr. Mullins and he has been fantastic. He helped me find out what was wrong with my eyes which doctors for the last 4 years were not able to do. The gals at the front desk are always nice, sociable, and remember me as I walk in the door! 1000/10 would recommend!

My family has gone here for years. They are always so nice and professional. They don’t try to rush you out the door and they are very good at explaining things.

For over 25 years, I have been a patient at Eyecare Associates, where I have consistently felt confident that my vision is in the capable hands of highly qualified professionals.

Have been coming here for a few years. Though the front desk staff has changed, the doc, optician, and optometric assistant have stayed the same, so that makes me think it’s a good place to work and that’s important to me. The exam is thorough and when recommended, specialty lenses and/or treatments are discussed, but definitely no high pressure sales. My son and I have really liked the glasses we’ve gotten here—they come back quickly from the lab and are made accurately.

Dr Hagburg has always taken excellent care of my eyes , because of his skills I still have my vision- and I appreciate all of the care he has put in over the years

Brought my granddaughter here for her first eye exam. Doctors were thorough the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great experience. Picked up her prescription glasses and was even given cleaning solution.

I had a very thorough eye exam with Dr Shipton. He explained each detail in clear language. Never did I feel rushed, he answered all of my questions. There is a great selection of frames! The optician took her time with me as well, explaining all my options. Every one in the office is very courteous and professional! I will definitely continue to be a patient there.

Dr. Shipton got me set up with contacts and they have been a game changer! Has helped me out in every way possible! Highly recommend Dr. Shipton!

They were able to fit me in quickly, and Dr. Shipton consistently takes his time during the exam to explain everything clearly. I met Dr Shipton yesterday for the first time after my long-time optometrist (30+ years!), Dr Winbigler, retired. I loved Dr W and was sad (and happy for him) upon his retirement. I must say that I was very impressed by Dr S and his crew. Dr W found the right doctor to take over his practice. I highly recommend Dr S and Eyecare Associates of Boise!!

Best eye consultation/exam I think I've ever had. Dr. Shipton helped me understand the issues with dry eye and other optic concerns I've been dealing with for years. We discussed solutions that made sense and put a plan together if I needed to do more. I highly recommend him.

This was my first visit. I just moved to Boise from California and I was advised by my eye specialist there to get an eye doctor as soon as I could because I have macular degeneration. I chose Eye care associates because of their great reviews and was seen by Dr. Shipton. He and his team were very kind and professional. They made me feel very comfortable right away.

I have been going here for eye care for years and do not plan to see any other practice in Boise. All the staff and doctors are fantastic and helpful. I needed to make an emergency appointment because my glasses broke, I called at 10am and got an appointment for 11:20 the same morning. Everyone was patient and understanding as I walked around blind. I absolutely recommend this practice!!

I am a longtime patient of first Dr. Winbigler and now Dr. Shipton. The care I have received was excellent with Dr. Winbigler and continues with Dr. Shipton. He is knowledgeable and up to date on new technology. He, like Dr. Winbigler, takes the time to explain issues and answer questions. The staff is friendly and professional. I recently had a test done at the Nampa office and again had a good experience.

Doctor is very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to me. Never had a doctor take this much time. Am hoping his approach to my problem with work. Please and will reccomed to others.

Dr. Shipman is very professional and knowledgeable in Eye health. I was in and out of the office and under an hour. His staff was very kind and efficient and I would recommend them to anyone that’s looking for a new eye doctor.
