Dr. Landon Hagberg joined Eyecare Associates in August 2011 and has been helping Treasure Valley families protect their vision ever since. He believes great eye care starts with listening, taking the time to understand each patient's concerns before recommending personalized solutions that support their long-term eye health.
Education & Professional Background
Dr. Hagberg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology, with a minor in Spanish, from Brigham Young University–Idaho in 2006. He continued his education at The Ohio State University's College of Optometry, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2010.
His clinical training included managing the vision care needs of residents in more than 30 nursing homes throughout Cincinnati, Ohio. During this time, he gained extensive experience diagnosing and managing conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma, hypertension, age-related macular degeneration, cataracts, and other ocular health concerns.

Committed to Continuing Education
As an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Idaho Optometric Physicians Association, Dr. Hagberg is committed to staying at the forefront of modern eye care. He currently serves as the Idaho Optometric Physicians Association Regional Director for the Southwest A Region. He regularly pursues continuing education to bring the latest advancements in eye care to his patients.

Life Outside the Office
When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Hagberg enjoys spending time with his wife, Kara, and their four children: Bexley, Jensen, Kardon, and Jade. As a family, they enjoy camping, hiking, bike rides, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.
Having returned to Idaho in 2011, Dr. Hagberg also enjoys supporting local businesses throughout the Treasure Valley. Some of his favorite local spots include Sip-yo, Fox Box Donuts, Cupbop, Brick 29, and Blazen Burgers.
