As a Nampa native and owner of Eyecare Associates of Idaho, Dr. Jonathan Hughes is proud to care for the community where he grew up. He believes every patient deserves personalized, compassionate eye care and is passionate about helping individuals and families protect their sight.
Education & Professional Background
After graduating from Nampa High School, Dr. Hughes earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University before receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2014.
He completed clinical rotations in Boise, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix, where he received advanced training in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, preparing him to care for patients with a wide range of medical and vision needs.

Life Outside the Office
Outside the office, Dr. Hughes enjoys spending time with his wife and their five children. As a family, they enjoy skiing, white-water rafting, fishing, sports, and exploring Idaho's incredible outdoors.
He is also actively involved in his church and local community and enjoys supporting youth programs and activities throughout the Treasure Valley.
