Dr. Oliver Mullins joined Eyecare Associates of Idaho in February 2019. Whether he's helping someone see clearly with their very first pair of glasses or working with a patient experiencing vision loss, Dr. Mullins believes every person deserves compassionate care and personalized solutions that improve their quality of life.
Education & Professional Background
Originally from The Dalles, Oregon, Dr. Mullins earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Brigham Young University–Idaho, where he also met his wife and developed a love for Idaho. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree with distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2014.
Following graduation, Dr. Mullins served three years as an active-duty optometric physician at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, where he gained valuable experience caring for a diverse patient population.

One of Idaho's Few Low Vision Specialists
Dr. Mullins is a Fellow of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists (FIALVS) and is one of the only optometrists in Idaho specializing in Low Vision Rehabilitation.
Through specialized evaluations, adaptive optical devices, and personalized rehabilitation plans, he helps patients with conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and other vision impairments make the most of their remaining sight. His goal is to help patients maintain their independence and continue enjoying the activities that matter most to them.
Life Outside the Office
When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Mullins enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the Treasure Valley. One of his favorite local restaurants is JP Thailand Express, and he enjoys taking his children to Jeremy's Downtown Arcade for family outings.
He appreciates being part of the Eyecare Associates of Idaho team and is proud to serve the Treasure Valley with compassionate, patient-centered eye care.
